Friend, inspiration, beloved brother in Christ;
Loving husband, loving father, loving family man.
Good and faithful servant;
Rest in the Lord now and evermore.

That chase one another like waves of the deep--
Each brightly or darkly, as onward it flows,
Reflecting our eyes, as they sparkle or weep...
Our life should resemble a long day of light,
And our death come on holy and calm as the night."
