With America under renewed attack from within and without, from those overseas who've never given up in their efforts to destroy her, and from those within who seek to "transform" (that's the latest euphemism for "destroy") her, it seems appropriate on this day of remembrance to remember how it all began, and what it cost, and what it still costs.
